Strength, recovery and performance training under one roof; meet the gym that has everything with Everlast Gyms+

For many gym-goers, training is no longer just about lifting weights or clocking miles on the treadmill. The modern athlete, whether competitive or recreational, wants more from their gym environment – an experience. That means strength training, recovery, nutrition and community all under one roof.

That’s the thinking behind Everlast Gyms+, a new high-performance fitness concept that has officially opened at Manchester’s Trafford Palazzo. Spanning an impressive 28,000 square feet, the flagship facility represents the next stage in the evolution of Everlast Gyms, bringing together expansive training spaces, advanced recovery facilities and a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio.

Members can train across multiple disciplines, from boxing and strength training to HYROX preparation, all within one integrated performance environment.

A new era of performance training

The launch also marks the first major showcase of Everlast Gyms’ partnership with Nike Strength. Across the gym floor, members will find a wide range of Nike Strength equipment, including weights made using recycled trainers in the gym’s dedicated resistance zone.

The partnership extends beyond equipment, too, with classes powered by Nike Strength designed to help members build strength, agility and conditioning.

For those who thrive on structured, high-intensity sessions, the club also offers Everlast’s signature group training concepts, including HAYMAKER, CRANKED, HUSTLE powered by Nike Strength and the Everlast Lifting Club. Each programme blends strength work with conditioning and functional training to challenge both power and endurance.

The HYROX experience

One of the standout features of the new club is its dedicated HYROX Performance Center, reflecting the explosive growth of hybrid racing events.

Situated on the upper level and fully equipped with Centr-supplied race-day kit and specialist performance turf, the training zone has been designed for athletes preparing to compete in HYROX events as well as anyone looking to build strength, endurance and work capacity.

Like a competition arena, the Performance Center is laid out as a large rectangular space with sled tracks running through the middle, lined with Centr x HYROX Competition Perform Turf

Around the edges, members will find cardio equipment including SkiErgs, rowers and treadmills along with eight wall-ball targets designed to recreate the demands of race day.

Athletes can also practise event-specific skills using official HYROX equipment, allowing them to train in a true-to-race environment.

Regular workshops, group sessions and HYROX-style workouts will also take place in the space, creating an environment where both newcomers and experienced competitors can train in a dedicated space to help them prepare for race day.

Train hard, recover harder

While many gym-goers focus heavily on training, recovery is also a non-negotiable. Everlast Gyms+ places a strong emphasis on this side of the equation. The club’s Recovery Zone features Brass Monkey ice baths and both a dry and herbal sauna. These allow members to support muscle recovery, calm the nervous system and manage training load after demanding sessions.

Cold-water immersion and heat therapy have become increasingly popular among athletes for their potential benefits in reducing muscle soreness, lowering inflammation and improving recovery between workouts. By integrating these facilities directly into the gym environment, the aim is to make recovery part of the training routine rather than an afterthought.

The rise of Reformer Pilates

Another key feature is the gym’s 18-bed Reformer Pilates studio, equipped with Allegro reformer machines and designed to deliver low-impact strength and mobility work.

Once seen primarily as a rehabilitation or boutique studio offering, Reformer Pilates has increasingly found its place within mainstream training programmes for men as well as women. Many athletes (and celebrities) now use it to develop core strength, improve mobility and support injury prevention.

The dedicated studio at Everlast Gyms+ allows members to incorporate this type of training into their weekly routine without leaving the facility.

Fuel for performance

Nutrition is another central pillar of the Everlast Gyms+ concept.

The new club features a welcoming café area with a Myprotein Kitchen offering smoothies and performance-focused nutrition designed to support members before or after training.

From protein shakes and recovery drinks to meals and snacks, the space allows gym-goers to refuel without needing to leave the gym.

Combined with the training zones and recovery spaces, the kitchen helps create what Everlast describes as a holistic performance environment where members can train, recover, refuel and connect.
