The One Shorts from Fabletics are designed for versatile training demands. They’re some of the best gym shorts for men and are even suitable for swimming.
They feature an inner lining with a high-stretch fabric and a soft, light outer. The outer shorts hand lower on your legs to conceal the inners. In fact it’s a textbook 7-inch cut that finished a couple of inches above the knees.
The shorts are sleek and streamlined; they fit well without being as tight as other shorts on test. And the outer shorts are stretchy and relaxed without being baggy. There’s a small split in the outer seam for extra comfort and ease of movement.
We really like the feel of these shorts – they’re comfortable and well constructed. We tested the One Shorts with a variety of exercises including indoor gym sessions and outdoor exercise. They work well during gym workouts, as well as shorter outdoor runs and treadmill training.
The relaxed feel of the outer shorts makes them less suitable for long distance running, though. If you like to mix 10km runs or longer into your training we’d recommend dedicated running shorts.
